On October 18th campus was graced by the big pink event, that is the Soap and Glory Bus. And it wasn’t short of surprises!
The giant double decker bus was hard to miss in University Square, with its pink glittery exterior, an outdoor mirror and a pink slide that started from the top deck down to the outside. The girls that surrounded the bus were decked out in 50s style clothes and were very welcoming despite the horrid weather.

Inside plenty of goodies awaited students, with activities such as glitter tattoos and a beauty parlour and there were tons of giveaways and competitions, and of course, plenty of snacks. The Soap & Glory theme ran throughout and even offered Beyonce-style dance classes and airbrush tattoos. On top deck students were given the VIP treatment in the boudoir with makeover and hair braiding and all washed down with glasses of bubbly and souvenir gifts to celebrate the wonderful event.

The bus was packed throughout the day with Soap & Glory fans with the beauty parlour that was supplying glitter tattoos booked up for most of the day. There were competitions to win some Soap & Glory goodies and even to win an internship in New York!
The Soap & Glory bus is currently touring the country visiting tons of campus’ across the UK and is currently in Loughborough. The competitions are still running on their website for students; so get yourselves on there if you missed the bus or in need of some more Soap & Glory goodies.
