Liverpool Sound City have this week announced the last of the weekends headliners as The Vaccines, joining the bill with The Flaming Lips and Belle and Sebastian at the festival which will take place in May.
Other acts announced this week were Roni Size Reprazent, The Thurston Moore Band, Gaz Coombes, Fucked Up, Evian Christ, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, Dum Dum Girls, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Stealing Sheep, Dutch Uncles, Slaves, All We Are, Jane Weaver, Dave McCabe & The Ramifications, The Serpent Power, Bad Breeding, Apes and Single Mothers.
Sound City CEO Dave Pichilingi commented: “We promised a massive and credible line-up this year and we delivered. The Vaccines, The Flaming Lips and Belle & Sebastian will play to an audience of thousands in one of the coolest cities in the world on the banks of the River Mersey in the unique setting of our brand new Docklands home. It does not get much better than that.”
The festival takes place between the 21st and 24th May 2015.
