Haypp Launches £2000 Essay Scholarship for UK University Students
A brand new scholarship, launched by Haypp UK, has officially opened applications for its new 2025 programme where students have the chance to win a scholarship of £2000.
The competition challenges students to write a thought-provoking essay on one of a number of themes relevant to Haypp’s mission to create a smoke-free future. These include e-commerce, consumer behaviour, public health, regulation of consumer products, and alternative nicotine products.
The £2000 Haypp Scholarship will be awarded twice a year, on 1st June and 1st December, to a student who submits the best essay on any of the designated topics. Applications received between November 1 and April 30 will be considered for the June award, and applications received between May 1 and October 31 will be considered for the December award.
As one of the world’s largest online retailers of alternative nicotine products, such as nicotine pouches and vapes, Haypp created the scholarship to recognise students whose studies have the potential to have a positive impact on public health and are aligned with Haypp’s ambition to spearhead a global transformation to a smoke-free future . The new scholarship is being piloted for the first time this year, and Haypp hopes to inspire ambitious university students to engage with topics that will have a meaningful impact on public health and smoking cessation.

To be eligible for entry, students must be registered at a UK university or college at the time the essay was submitted. Students that are interested in applying should check their university or college websites for details of the scholarship.
